Each year we welcome new residents into our Pharmacy Residency Program.
Dr. Hyunkyung (Kathy) Lee graduated from MCPHS University – Boston in May 2021. Her professional interests include academia, ambulatory care, and infectious diseases.
Kathy is from Seoul, South Korea and Boston has become her second home. She enjoys walking around the city and exploring local shops. Her hobbies include traveling, bowling, and playing music.
Dr. Azizah Alawadhi graduated from MCPHS University Boston, where she received her PharmD degree is perusing her MS in MBA. Her professional interests include academia, psychiatry and women’s health.
Azizah was born and raised in Kuwait. She grew up in a big diverse family, where she learned it’s all about the quality of life and finding a happy balance between work and friends and family. She enjoys traveling and wishes to retire in the Philippines one day.
Dr. Sameer Alzaidi is from Saudi Arabia. He graduated with a doctorate of pharmacy from Ohio Northern University Ada this May 2021. His practice interests include infectious disease, critical care, and oncology.
He enjoys playing soccer, trying new food, and traveling to different countries with his family. Dr. Alzaidi plans to pursue a PGY2 in one of his practice interests after completion of the residency year.
Dr. Muhannad Abdulmajeed graduated from the University of Cincinnati where he received his PharmD degree. While pursuing his PharmD degree, he worked as a retail pharmacist inter in the Cincinnati area and became a licensed pharmacist in the state of Massachusetts. His professional interest includes infectious disease and emergency department.
Muhannad has lived the majority of his life in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and studied in the United States after graduating from high school. He enjoys working out; watching movies, TV, animes; playing video games; and cooking in his spare time. His favorite TV show of all time is Seinfeld.
Dr. Edwin P.H.B Douchebe is a graduate of LECOM School of Pharmacy in Erie, Pennsylvania, 2021. During his time in school, he worked as a pharmacy intern at Millcreek Community Hospital in Erie. Edwin’s interest areas in the practice of pharmacy include infectious diseases, cardiology, and ambulatory care.
He is currently enjoying his experience at MelroseWakefield Hospital and facilitating seminars at MCPHS University as part of his teaching certificate.
Edwin was born and raised in Ghana and has been living in the U.S for the past eight years pursuing and fulfilling his dreams. He is married with two children (Zoe and Gabriel). He plans to travel with his family more often across the U.S and to other countries when we get out of the pandemic.
Dr. Banin Alqadheeb completed her PharmD at King Faisal University in Saudi Arabia in 2015. Then, she completed the Advanced Clinical Pharmacy Practice Graduate Certificate Program at the University of Arizona in 2019. Her clinical areas of interest include ambulatory care and psychiatry. Her hobbies include cooking and knitting.
She was born and raised in Saudi Arabia. She enjoys traveling and learning about different cultures. She hopes to travel more in the upcoming years. She also enjoys spending quality time with her family.
Dr. Leia Gaddis obtained her PharmD from TTUHSC SOP in Texas in 2021. Though she was born in Colorado, she moved to Texas during middle school and has lived there since. Her clinical interest lies with toxicology, therefore emergency medicine and critical care are her favorite practice settings.
Leia is the current PGY1 HSPAL pharmacy resident and will complete her PGY2 at MelroseWakefield Healthcare in 2023. Her hobbies include exploring New England and enjoying the fall weather and eating at the surprising number of Italian restaurants in the Boston area.
Dr. Nicole Muzio graduated from MCPHS University Boston, where she received her PharmD and MS in Clinical Management. While pursuing her Master’s degree, she worked as a retail pharmacist in the greater Boston area and became a licensed pharmacist in Connecticut. Her professional interests include academia and ambulatory care pharmacy, especially diabetes management.
Nicole has lived in Boston for the past nine years but calls Connecticut home. In her spare time, she enjoys dancing and used to be a competitive ballroom dancer. Her favorite dances include Bolero, Fox Trot, and Waltz. She also enjoys spending quality time with friends and family.
