Each year we welcome new residents into our Pharmacy Residency Program.


Dr. Carolyn (Corrie) Evans graduated from MCPHS University Boston this May 2020. During her time in school, she worked as a pharmacy intern at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center for three years. Corrie is interested in pursuing an Infectious Disease PGY2 and currently enjoys teaching seminars at MCPHS as part of her teaching certificate.

She was born and raised in Massachusetts and is from Acton-Boxborough. While she loves New England, she plans to travel more in the upcoming years. Corrie owns a horse named Echo who currently resides in Coventry, CT where she serves as a lesson horse to teach the upcoming generation of equestrians how to ride.

Dr. Fatema Alrashed completed her PharmD at MCPHS Worcester in 2018 and completed two years of fellowship upon graduating. She is from Kuwait, which is a 13-hour flight from Boston. Her clinical areas of interest include cardiology and internal medicine.

She has lived in the United Kingdom for six years to receive her Bachelor’s in Pharmacy and Master’s degree in Pharmacotherapy. Her hobbies include weightlifting, cardio, traveling, and reading whenever she has the time. She also owns an animal shelter in Kuwait, which is now being run by her close friend.

Dr. Nicole Muzio graduated MCPHS University Boston, where she received her PharmD and MS in Clinical Management. While pursuing her Master’s degree, she worked as a retail pharmacist in the greater Boston area and became a licensed pharmacist in the state of Connecticut. Her professional interests include academia and ambulatory care pharmacy, especially diabetes management.

Nicole has lived in Boston for the past eight years but calls Connecticut home. In her spare time, she enjoys dancing and used to be a competitive ballroom dancer. Her favorite dances include Bolero, Fox Trot, and Waltz. She also enjoys spending quality time with friends and family.

Dr. Chris Sekiya received his PharmD from Northeastern University and decided to stay in Boston to begin his pharmacy career. His professional interests include internal medicine, oncology, and infectious diseases.

Chris is from Schwenksville, Pennsylvania near Philadelphia. He has thoroughly been enjoying his time in Boston (other than dealing with the Patriots winning most of the time – Go Eagles!) and in his free time, he likesgolfing, hiking, and traveling with his girlfriend.

Dr. Justin Bui graduated from the University at Buffalo, where he received his PharmD and MBA. He is from Cupertino, California, home to Apple. His professional interests include informatics and administration.

Justin has looked forward to getting immersed in the East Coast by visiting parks, trying different restaurants, and attending sporting events. He is an ordained wedding officiant and enjoys helping his family and friends get married.
