$2,000 to support education, capital equipment and renovations, and other community health initiatives

The Medford Kiwanis Club recently presented a check for $2,000 to Lawrence Memorial Hospital of Medford. The funds will be used to support caregiver education, capital equipment and renovations and other community health initiatives

The Kiwanis Club is a civic organization dedicated to serving the children of the world. Kiwanis and its family of clubs, including Circle K International for university students, Key Club for high school students, Builders Club for middle school students, Kiwanis Kids for elementary school students and Aktion Club for adults living with disabilities, annually dedicate more than 18 million hours and raise more than $100 million to strengthen communities and serve children.

The Medford Kiwanis Club supports many organizations and efforts throughout the region including Project Triangle, Medford public schools, the Medford Senior Center and the West Medford Community Center and with scholarships for local students through a number of fundraising activities, including the Jail Day 5K run/walk, Fight Night, and the Taste of Italy.
