- benign prostatic hyperplasia (BHP)
- bladder cancer
- bladder control problems after pregnancy
- blood in urine
- chronic urinary tract infections (UTI)
- erectile dysfunction (trouble having or keeping an erection)
- enlarged prostate
- enlarged prostate gland
- incontinence (loss of bladder control)
- kidney blockage
- kidney cancer
- kidney stones
- painful urination
- pelvic organ prolapse
- prostate cancer
- testicular cancer
- uterine prolapse
Most patients are referred to a urologist from a primary care doctor, OB/GYN, or other specialists. During your appointment, your urologist will learn your medical history, discuss your symptoms, order tests like blood work or imaging studies, and then may perform a physical exam. With these findings, they will partner with you to develop a treatment plan that may include prescription medications, physical therapy, or surgery. Helping you return to normal function is our goal.
