Lawrence Memorial Hospital Construction Update (added October 21, 2020)
Over the next two-to-three weeks there will be a construction presence on Lawrence Road. For the rest of this week and into the beginning of next week we will be replacing the existing sewer line that runs to Lawrence Memorial Hospital in order to facilitate the installation of a new manhole structure, as requested by the City of Medford and called for in the Special Permit Requirements of our construction project.
Our work on the sidewalks and the driveway entrance will also continue over this time.
Thank you for your continued patience during construction. If you have any questions on these updates, please email us at community@melrosewakefield.org
Lawrence Memorial Hospital Construction Update (added October 19, 2020)
As a follow up and reminder to the message below, please note that highlighted work on the sidewalks will begin tomorrow morning at 7 am. As previously mentioned this work will include replacing some of the existing cracked sidewalk over the next few days. Trucks will be needed on the scene to complete this work and a police detail will be onsite. This work is expected to be completed in approximately two weeks.
We are pleased to note that this work brings us closer to completion of the ambulatory surgery center project.
Lawrence Memorial Hospital Construction Update (added October 16, 2020)
As we communicated in our most recent email, work has begun in the parking lots and its sidewalks of the Lawrence Memorial Hospital campus, along with some landscaping, including around the parking lot’s perimeter. Fencing is part of this planned work. We’re pleased to share that as requested, fencing has been placed at the corner of the lot that was a “cut-through” area of the campus that meets up near Holmes Road. Also, as requested at the most recent Medford City Council meeting, the fencing has been extended along the entire perimeter of that side of the parking lot to Governors Ave. The fencing work will be completed in one day, depending on the weather.
